Office Visits

Your Child's First Visit

It is normal for a parent or child to have anxiety when first visiting the dentist. Our goal is to provide safe, gentle, and high quality care to your child. Our practice is tailored toward seeing anxious patients and to make dental visits an experience to be looked forward to. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the most current dental technology and safest sterilization procedures. Our office is also designed to provide a fun and calming environment for our young patients. From iPads to magnetic walls to prizes to goody bags and, most importantly  a well-trained staff, we strive to make your child feel at ease to provide safe, high quality care.

During your child's first visit, we will:

  • Review dental/medical history forms and ask about any specific questions or concerns

  • Complete a thorough exam of the teeth and mouth which may include X-rays of their teeth if needed

  • Clean and polish your child's teeth, checking teeth and gums for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis

  • Develop and discuss options to form a comprehensive treatment plan to address any issues

Oral Dental Insurance & Financial Policy Disclosure

Full Payment for all dental services provided in our office is the responsibility of the patient and/or patient's parent or guardian. If you have a dental insurance plan, if requested, we will offer you an estimate of what your specific plan may contribute to your payment, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the estimate. We provide estimates only as a service to help you gauge your share of the cost of care for your child. Please understand that all insurance plans are not equal. Among the different insurance plans and even within the same company, there are  differences in rates and allowances and we can only estimate your plan's contribution. We have no way of knowing what the allowable fees are for companies with whom we are not contracted.

We submit insurance claims electronically at the end of each day. It is the responsibility of the patient or guardian to keep the insurance and personal information current in our files. Your estimated portion will be calculated by the computer and you will be responsible to pay that amount the day of service. We bill your insurance as a courtesy and you are responsible for the difference in fees.

Please let us know if you have any questions about your insurance coverage or payment options.

Testimonials

We really love this place! The new office is AMAZING, and the staff is just as great as they have always been. Even my 14 year old still doesn’t mind coming to the pediatric dentist. I’m going to be sad when we are too old for this place. They’re like family to us now :) And they got my kids to love flossing. I don’t know how that happened, but it’s true.

There is only one word to describe Dr. Zaghi and his staff…ROCKSTARS! After three miserable visits with other dentists, Dr. Zaghi, and Becky the hygienist got my 4 year old to sit in the chair for his cleaning and fillings. Now, he asks me when he can go back to the dentist….ROCKSTARS!
— Mona
Dr. Zaghi’s office is a warm and friendly office where my children look forward to going. He has a knack for dealing with my toddler, my fidgety child, and my ‘tween.’ No small feat! I highly recommend him.

What kids like going to the dentist? Ask when can they go back? Actually can’t wait to go back? Well, all four of ours!!! Dr. Zaghi and his staff have a true talent for working with kids. Whether it’s the jokes, the videos, the treasure chest, the ball machine, or the goody bags, our kids leave the dentist feeling like they’ve been to an awesome birthday party! As parents, we leave feeling like our kids have been in good hands; like they’ve had the best of all care. We trust Dr. Zaghi implicitly. We drive 30 minutes to see him, and we would drive 30 minutes more to have the care that he and his staff provide!
